Sexual Dysfunction, or FSD, is a recognized medical condition affecting
43% of all women. Think of it as the female version of male ED (Erectile
Dysfunction). The phrase Female Sexual Dysfunction simply implies that
there have been noticeable changes in a women's sexual response and that
this change is causing personal distress.
Many women with FSD say sex just isn't like it
used to be. Many report a decrease in lubrication, sensation and ability
to achieve orgasm. Most complain their overall sexual satisfaction is
reduced.
The Eros works by applying gentle vacuum pressure
to the genital area to increase blood flow and sensitivity. "It clearly
develops collateral circulation patterns to the genitals, particularly
for those women who are diabetic, for those women who have had surgery,
etc.," Says Dr. Susan Kellogg who is the director of sexual medicine at
the Pelvic and Sexual Health Institute of Philadelphia. "And it's basic
physics how it works. It's just a fantastic little device."
